WEIGH IN: February 3, 2012 at KIEL SCHOOL CAFETORIUM.

Please come at the indicated time (or after) to allow enough time to check in each car.
6:00 – 6:30 pm Tigers
6:30 – 7:00 pm Wolves
7:00 – 7:30 pm Bears
7:30 – 8:00 pm Webelos

To Register in 2012: YOU MUST SIGN AN HONOR CODE WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR CAR THAT INDICATES THAT THE CAR WAS NOT PRE--PURCHASED, IS CONSTRUCTED FROM THE KIT GIVEN TO YOU AT THE SCOUT MEETINGS AND THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE WORK ON THE CAR WAS BY THE SCOUT WITH HELP FROM HIS FAMILY. This honor code will be signed in the presence of the PWD Committee at the weigh--in.

BLUE & GOLD DINNER/Senior Webelos Crossing Over Ceremony: Sunday, February 26, 2012, 5-8pm OLM Auditorium. Banquet includes hot buffet style foods, salad, bread. Parents, please check with your den leaders for RSVP forms, and for drink/dessert assignments. Den Leaders - please bring a fun centerpiece that represents Scouting and your den!

Council sponsored events are optional, and you may attend as a parent/scout, family, den or pack. Pack 277 does not usually register for council events as a pack; therefore, we encourage scout families to register on their own. Please let the Cubmaster know if you attend a council event! We would love to hear about your experience! Take lots of photos and bring them back to show your den/the pack!

Newspaper Recycling Trailer Duty

The Pack earns money for many of our activities by keeping the recycled newspapers organized. WE NEED EACH SCOUT TO HELP and make sure that we continue to earn money for Pack activities. So please, pitch in and help when your Den is assigned or any other time you can lend a hand. Instructions for bundling newspaper and loading/straightening the trailer are located under the Calendar/Documents link (under Important Documents). THE SCOUTS SHOULD VISIT THE TRAILER DURING EITHER A DEN MEETING OR SOME TIME DURING THE WEEKEND OF THE WEEK TO WHICH YOU ARE ASSIGNED!

** BRING YOUR BUNDLED NEWSPAPERS TO EVERY PACK MEETING!! WE WILL PROVIDE A TRUCK OUTSIDE THE STONYBROOK GYM FOR YOU TO LOAD YOUR NEWSPAPERS. WE WILL TRANSPORT THEM TO THE RECYCLING CENTER. **

** Parents, you can also bring your newspapers for recycling directly to the Scout Trailer in the Department of Public Works yard. Leaving them at the curb for the recyclers does NOT earn any money for the Pack.
